earn²keep was built because the old way of raising money for groups, teams, and clubs is broken — for the participants who get sent door-to-door, for the family and friends who buy products they don't want, and for the organizers who carry the whole thing on their backs.
The problem we kept seeing
Every season, the same routine: participants hand out cookie dough catalogs, family members pressure-buy from coworkers, the group gets a fraction of the take after the supplier's cut, and nobody learns much from the experience. The participants who hustle the hardest aren't rewarded any differently than the ones who barely show up. The fundraising company makes most of the money. And the “cause” gets diluted to a sales pitch.
We thought there was a better way: build a platform where fundraising is built around real motivation. Two formats, two ways to make it work. A Camp lets participants raise money for their cause directly from supporters (family, friends, community) — with optional daily challenges that unlock door prize eligibility. A Tournament pits multiple teams from different organizations against each other in a commitment contest — each team's organizer pays a per-team Entry Fee to join, and strict scoring means the whole roster wins or loses together. Either way, the money goes where it's supposed to go and the people doing the work get real motivation in return.
What earn²keep does
earn²keep is the platform that runs the whole flow. Organizers (coaches, parents, teachers, youth pastors, scout leaders, gym owners, directors — anyone leading a group) sign up, create their teams, pick the challenges that make sense for what they're doing, and launch a fundraiser as either a Camp (one team raising for a cause, with optional challenges for door prizes) or a Tournament (multiple teams competing against each other under strict all-or-nothing scoring).
Participants record short videos of their attempts. AI verifies them automatically, and organizers step in for anything AI can't confirm. Approved submissions roll up to a live leaderboard. Supporters who donate (in Camps) see exactly who they're backing and how it's going.
Who we're for
We support eight organizer types out of the gate, because groups come in all shapes, sizes, and age ranges:
- Coaches — sports teams of any age, any size, any level
- Teachers — classrooms, school clubs, academic teams
- Youth pastors — church groups, bible studies, ministry programs, summer events
- Scout leaders — troops, packs, dens, crews
- Gym owners / instructors — fitness clubs, martial arts, gymnastics, dance studios
- Parents — leading a small group themselves (homeschool co-op, neighborhood team)
- Organization directors — nonprofits, community programs, faith organizations
- Anyone else — if you lead a group, you qualify
What makes us different
- Verified effort. Every approved challenge submission has a video. Supporters know exactly what's happening — no empty promises.
- Flat fee. No transaction cuts. Camp $149, Tournament $249. That's the entire fee earn²keep takes — paid once at event launch. We don't take a percentage of donations, Entry Fees, or anything else. Stripe charges its own card-processing fee (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction) for the cards, paid to Stripe, not to us.
- Built for any group, any age. Sports, scripture, books, mileage, service hours, performance arts — if you can count it, you can run it.
- Real motivation. Camps reward the top performers with prizes. Tournaments use strict all-or-nothing scoring — the whole roster wins or loses together — so the team itself is the unit of accountability. Either way, there's something real on the line.
- No door knocking. Supporter QR codes (for Camps) go to the people who already care about your group. A click is all it takes to donate.
Where we're headed
We're early. The product works end-to-end, but there's a lot we want to add: deeper AI-assisted verification, better tools for organizers and supporters, more challenge templates, and integrations with the platforms organizations already use.
