What you can and can't do on earn²keep. This complements our Terms of Service.
1. General Principles
earn²keep is built for youth groups, families, and supporters working together toward a goal. We expect every user to act with basic decency and judgment. Specifically:
- Be honest. Don't fake reps, fabricate submissions, or misrepresent who you are or what you're doing.
- Be safe. Don't record or attempt challenges that could harm you or others.
- Be respectful. No harassment, hate speech, threats, or targeted abuse — especially of minors.
- Be lawful. Don't use the Service for anything illegal.
2. Prohibited Content
You may not upload, post, or share content that:
- Contains nudity, sexual content, or sexually suggestive material
- Depicts real or simulated violence, gore, or self-harm
- Promotes drugs, weapons, or dangerous activities
- Contains hate speech, slurs, or discrimination based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin
- Harasses, threatens, or shames any person
- Reveals private information about other people without consent (especially minors' names, addresses, schools, phone numbers)
- Infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
- Contains malware, viruses, or links to malicious content
- Is misleading, deceptive, or impersonates another person or organization
3. Prohibited Conduct
You may not:
- Use the Service to solicit funds under false pretenses
- Submit AI-generated, deepfaked, or otherwise manipulated content as if it were genuine physical performance
- Create multiple accounts to evade bans, manipulate counts, or commit fraud
- Scrape, harvest, or programmatically extract data from the Service
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Interfere with the Service's operation (denial of service, exploits, spam)
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code
- Use the Service to compete with earn²keep (build a competing platform from data obtained through use)
4. Special Rules for Content Involving Minors
Because many groups using earn²keep include minors among their participants, we hold content standards especially strict:
- No close-ups of minors that focus on physical body parts beyond what's needed to show the exercise
- No identifying information visible in submission videos (school names, addresses, jersey backs with full names, etc., should be minimized where reasonable)
- No third-party minors visible in submission videos without their parent's consent
- Adults appearing in videos with minors should be the parent, guardian, or organizing adult — not strangers
Organizers are responsible for reviewing submissions for these standards before approval. earn²keep reserves the right to remove any content that violates these rules, regardless of approval status.
5. Reporting Violations
If you see content or behavior that violates this policy, report it to support@earn2keep.com. Include:
- What you saw (description or screenshot)
- Where you saw it (URL or which event/participant if known)
- Why it concerns you
- Your contact info (so we can follow up if needed)
We review all reports. Confirmed violations result in content removal, warnings, account suspension, or termination depending on severity.
6. Consequences
Violations may result in any combination of:
- Removal of the offending content
- Warning to the user
- Temporary suspension of the account
- Permanent termination of the account
- Forfeiture of unprocessed event funds (where allowed by law)
- Report to law enforcement (in cases of suspected illegal activity, especially involving harm to minors)
7. DMCA / Copyright Infringement
earn²keep complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, you may submit a notice with the following:
